Ask your workspace first
Three of the most common problems are answered inside Rople by somebody you work with.
A module is missing from your sidebar. Either your workspace has not bought it, or it is restricted to departments yours is not in. Your workspace owner or an organisation admin can see both, in Admin, under Module access.
A screen refuses you. Access is decided by your role and your department. Both are set in Admin, on the People screen, by somebody at level 4.
A number looks wrong. Almost nothing in Rople is typed twice. A figure is computed from records in the module that owns them, and every screen that reports one names where it came from. Open that module and check the record. Finance, Insights and Home all read the same pass, so if one of them is wrong the record behind it is wrong.
Check these before reporting
They resolve a real share of what gets reported, and each takes seconds.
- Are you in the right workspace? If you belong to more than one, the workspace section of your Account says which one you are reading.
- Is it your seat rather than a fault? A hidden row and a refused page are the same decision, deliberately. The guide for the module says who can open it.
- Has the record changed since you looked? My Work and Home recompute from the records, so a row leaves when the record moves, not when you tick it.
- Reload the page. Rople draws the last answer immediately and corrects it a moment later, so a stale reading corrects itself on the next load.
Reporting something
Send us four things. With them, most reports are diagnosed without a second message. Without them, the first reply is always a request for them.
- The URL. The address bar is the fastest description of where you were.
- What you expected and what happened. Both halves. "The board is wrong" and "the card stayed in Qualified after I dragged it to Offer sent" are the same report, and only one of them can be acted on.
- When. Roughly is fine. It is what lets us find the request in the logs.
- Who you are signed in as, and the workspace. Not your password, which we never need and will never ask for.
A screenshot is worth including. A screen recording is worth more.
What we will never ask you for
Your password, a code from an email, or a signed in session on your machine. Nobody from Rople needs any of them to look at your workspace, and a request for one is not from us.
How we get into your workspace
When a problem needs somebody at Rople to look at your actual data, that access is a named, time limited grant rather than a key.
A Rople administrator issues it against one workspace, for one named Rople person, for a window of at most twenty four hours, with a reason recorded. Nothing is emailed and no password is created. The person signs in as themselves, and the grant is what their own identity is then permitted to do.
They do not appear in your workspace. There is no member record, nothing in your headcount, nothing in your seat billing and nothing in your people directory. The grant expires on its own and every use of it is written to the audit trail, which you can read in Admin, under Compliance.

Email support@rople.app.
If your workspace was built for you, your own owner has a direct line to the person who built it, and that is usually faster.
